1,000 words

Pictures are worth a thousand words!!!

Party of three, the story begins!! WE ARE PREGNANT!!! just a few weeks, but i know everyone has been waiting as patiently as we have to find out, so i couldnt wait to tell you!! :) we are thrilled!!! our prayers have been answered! now we are praying for healthy growth!!

this pic shows the progression of positive tests. i took the first one saturday night, and it was barely visible as positive. it was early to take one and late at night, but i couldnt wait. the second one is from sunday, still faint, but the line is there. i was still worried about a false positive so i continued to take them! monday afternoon, tuesday morning, and yesterday morning. yesterday's came up immediately (like while i was "taking it") and it was very dark pink right away. definitely pregnant. i am also now three days late...i am never late. i have a few other classic symptoms, but i dont need to share all of that!

just pray with us!! we are going monday for our first doctor's visit. at this point, i am not considered high risk. since Charlotte had a chromosome disorder and not a genetic disorder, they are not too concerned. they will be monitoring my levels and i will continue on progesterone until week 13. Lord willing, we will have a baby the beginning of APRIL!! my calculated due date is april 9.

thanks so much for all the love, support, and encouragement!!! we are blessed! we are so full of joy!!

thank you to my awesomely talented friend, christie lacy for an impromptu photo session!! check her out!!! she is seriously the best and also a very sweet friend of mine!! here are two others she did for us...

ahhhhh!! so giddy!!! :) now, i feel nauseous!!

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

blessings, ALo

  2. Congrats! I'm having deja vu. My sweet Phoebe was due this past April 9th. She was born on the eleventh. I also had to do progesterone. At one point, the nurse actually told me she couldn't tell me if it was a good pregnancy our bad one. It all turned out well (she's actually asleep on my lap as I write this). I'm so happy for you! I've been following your story since you took over Lisa's blog the night Jaxton was born. Praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby!

  8. Aimee!!! I am SO SO SOOO excited for you guys!!! I don't know if you remember me (Natalie "Weston" Meade), but we were RA's together at Cedarville. I have been praying for you and Peter to get pregnant literally every day for the past 3 or 4 months, and then this last week, I (and my husband) have been praying for you guys constantly. Around the clock. You seriously were the first thing I prayed for as soon as I woke up and the last thing I prayed for before I fell asleep at night. I've been praying all day, every day for the last 10 days. I'm SO very excited for you! God is so good!! I'll continue praying during the pregnancy!

  17. Congratulations to you! As someone else said, I've never been so happy a stranger is pregnant! I found you from Lisa's blog, which I saw on babycenter when I was going thru my miscarriage early last yr. Reading both of your stories really helped me. I have a baby girl now, and I have been praying that you will get your little one. He/she has no idea how much love they are gonna get from you guys. :)
